The Resilient Rural Belize Programme (RRB) is the Executing Agency for the Project, and the Ministry of
Finance, Investment, Economic Transformation, Civil Aviation & E-Governance, is responsible for the
overall implementation of the project. The RRB invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for
Road Infrastructure – Santa Cruz Road (5.2 km). The works include, but may not be limited to, the
upgrading of the Santa Cruz Road, Toledo District to a traversable standard over a length of approximately
5.2 kilometres (km), and comprises the following:
• Clearing of road reserve
• Undercutting and disposal of unsuitable material
• Excavation and cleaning of side drains
• Minor waterway training and drainage improvement works
• Supply and installation of concrete culvert units
• Construction of wingwalls, aprons and headwalls
• Supply and backfilling of culvert units with suitable material
• Supply, transportation, placement, and compaction of fill materials
• Supply, transportation, placement, and compaction of surface dressing materials (double
chip seal surface layer)
• Installation of road signage and pavement markings
• Repair of girders of one (1) steel-bridge
• Construction of three (3) new reinforced concrete bridges
Electronic or physical bids must be delivered no later than July 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (localtime). Bids will be opened publicly immediately after the deadline for submission of bids, in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the third address below.
