CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO ESTABLISH A HIGH AVAILABILITY SERVER CLUSTER FOR THE NATIONAL METEOROLOGICAL SERVICE OF BELIZE – MHIBFEWS/REOI/05/26
The Government of Belize (GOBZ) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of the Technical Assistance – Implementation of Multi-Hazard Impact-Based Forecast and Early Warning System for the Belize River Watershed Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract.
The objective of the consultancy is to deploy and ensure that relevant applications and tools will be optimally operating to meet the needs of the NMS and the country, i.e., automate software deployment, scaling, and management, providing high available services with redundancy, load balancing and little to no down time. This will allow critical services to be continuously operational and, in the event of application
failure, to minimize downtime for redeploying applications.
One electronic copy must be sent simultaneously to the Ministry of Finance, Investment, Economic Transformation, Civil Aviation, and E-Government and the CDB at the second email address below no later than 15:00 hours on the July 24, 2026, local time Belize. The submission should include the name and of the applicant and shall be clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Consultancy Services to establish high availability Kubernetes or Proxmox server cluster for the National Meteorological Service of Belize MHIBFEWS/REOI/05/26.”
