The overall objectives of the Readiness is to support the Ministry of Economic Transformation (MET) and the Belize Social Investment Fund (BSIF) in addressing institutional, fiduciary, environmental, social, and policy gaps as they pursue accreditation as Direct Access Entities to the Green Climate Fund, thereby strengthening Belize’s national capacity to directly access and manage climate finance. In this context, the MET aims to strengthen and address policy gaps within its Grievance Redress Mechanism Framework to ensure alignment with national and international standards, particularly the requirements of the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

Qualified Individual Consultants must submit their expression of interest via email to procurement@met.gov.bz no later than 3:00 p.m. (Belize local time), July 03, 2026. The subject of the email must be labelled GCF/RPSP14/CFU/SER/02: Consultancy Services for the Development of Grievance Redress Mechanism for Ministry of Economic Transformation (MET).
