Climate Finance Concept Note Development
CFU Concept Note Development
The Climate Finance Unit (CFU) encourages the submission of project ideas and concepts from all stakeholders, across all sectors. It is through this medium that we can develop programming pipelines for the various climate funds and international funding agencies that work closely with Belize to advance our climate change and development goals. Once project ideas are submitted to the CFU, they undergo a multi-tiered review process to ensure that the concepts are economically viable, high-impact, and in alignment with the national priorities of the country. The concept note review process is consultative and often entails meetings with sector leads and experts to provide feedback on the feasibility of each initiative. If you have a concept note or a preliminary project idea that you would like to share with our team, please complete the concept note template below (or wherever it will be located on the page). Please note that your project should be in alignment with the most recent national plans and policies, linked below (or wherever they will be on the page).
If you need to submit documents kindly email them to cfu@met.gov.bz. We will contact you after reviewing your submission.
