The objective of this assignment is to engage a qualified law firm to serve as an External Legal Counsel throughout the implementation of its five year Compact Program with MCC, including Compact closeout. The selected firm will advise MCA-Belize on all legal matters arising from Program implementation including contract law, procurement, governance and land acquisition, fiscal and tax law, employment and dispute resolution ensuring full compliance with applicable Belize Law and terms of the Compact.
